Please bring a dish to share and your own table ware. (Maybe a lawn chair too.) Attention All High School Students: The youth group is set to begin NEXT Sunday, August 29th. Meet in the upstairs classroom across from the elevator right after the church service. See Mr. Amling or Mr. Michaels with any questions. It will definitely be a “six flag” experience, so be there or be square. Jill Blakley and Edna Ostafinksi are the co-Sunday School Superintendents. The new curriculum we’ll be using in called “KidsKount” created by King of Kings Lutheran Church in Omaha, Nebraska. August is a great time to make purchases for your Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes during Back-to-School sales! Our Sunday School will be participating in OCC again this year. Stock up now on pencils, crayons, notebooks, colored pencils, etc. for shoe box gifts. They will be collected in November. More details will be forthcoming. September 11, Heritage will host a water station at our entrance on Washington St. during the Popcorn Festival. We need volunteers to distribute water bottles and info about our church. See the sign-up sheet in the Parish Hall. The CROP WALK is back! This year it will be on Sunday, October 3rd. First, we need walkers, Then we will need some sponsors.
