Summer Block Party

Heritage Block Party Saturday, July 12th Noon—4 pm:  Invite your friends and family as we rock the block with food, fun and games for everyone!  Here is just some of the fun you can expect:  Bingo, Hot dogs, games and prizes for the kids, who knows, maybe someone will even get a pie in the face.  Keep watching for more information as the date gets closer!

Block Party Help Needed:  We need a lot of help to run the Block Party.  Tasks include:  supervising games, cooking/serving food, setting up and cleaning up the food area, setting up and cleaning up the block party and, publicizing the block party.  If you are interested in any of these areas, please contact Heidi Heuer.  Thanks!

Sunday School News

The Sunday School year is officially over and we had a fun one learning about Jesus Christ.  We wrapped up the year with a bowling party at Inman’s.  We had over 30 kids plus about 15 parents bowling for a few hours.  We enjoyed food and fellowship and found out that there are some good bowlers at Heritage!  We also sang in church one last time and celebrated the last day with ice cream, candy, trivia and some time outside.  All the children’s favorite things!

A big THANK YOU to all the teachers, library helpers, and substitutes for Sunday School this year.  Your commitment makes it possible for us to continue to teach the children of Heritage all the Bible stories and songs which are important for their faith.

A blessed summer to all of you and see you in September!

Yours in Christ,

Michelle Michaels

We believe it is our responsibility to provide Christian education to our entire congregation but also feel we need to make a strong commitment to our youth by providing consistent leadership and the tools they need to make decisions based on Christian values.  We need to be able to offer our entire congregation the Biblical resources needed to grow in the peace and hope that is found only in our risen Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
