June Food Pantry 

Our June food pantry donations will go to the Westchester (Chesterton) food pantry.  They are in need of macaroni and cheese, canned tuna, canned fruit and any other non-perishable foods.

New Format On Offering Envelopes for 2008 

You have probably noticed the new format on your 2008 offering envelopes.  Four categories are listed:  Current Expenses, Missions, CEC, and Other.  Our church council determined this format as a way of allowing our members to designate more clearly where they wanted to direct their offering.  From past experience a number of our members have been “penciling in” on their envelopes a particular designation for their offering.  You may continue to do this using one of the four categories.

Please note that the “CEC” category stands for Christian Education Coordinator.  For this year of 2008 it serves as a reminder of the commitment we, as a congregation, have made to this new staff position at Heritage.  Also note, that at our February 3rd Voters Meeting we will determine the missions we will support in 2008.
